Why A Bigger Penis Really Does Satisfy Women More

Penis size, and its relevance to women's sexual satisfaction, is a widely debated area. While there are other things that from a biological perspective should have a bigger impact on how satisfied a woman believes she is during sex, such as duration, position, and technique, when women are asked in surveys and studies, one point comes up as being more important to them than any other – the bigger a man's penis, the better she expects and believes the sex to be.

This is partly because sexual enjoyment, particularly for women, is as much about psychological stimulation and arousal as it is about the physical mechanics. Just as men are traditionally more visually aroused by women with certain attributes such as large breasts, women typically respond more to large, erect penises than to small ones. In a survey performed on 1250 anonymous female respondents, married and single, by online polling service Mister Poll, 84% explicitly stated a larger penis was more visually exciting than a modestly sized one. 89% also said that when they see an attractive man, they often or sometimes fantasize about what his penis might look like. The visual aspect is therefore very important in terms of arousal and desire.

The story does not end there though. Despite some theories to the contrary about sex with larger penises actually being painful for women, 80% of the women involved in the survey had experienced vaginal sex with a man whose penis was over 7.5 inches (34% claimed they had experienced sex with a man whose penis was over 10 inches), and of these 84% said it felt somewhat or much better than with a smaller partner, with 72% opting for the “much better” option. Only 8% said it hurt.

The findings of this survey are in keeping with other polls and quizzes conducted by women's magazines, as well as the findings of more academic surveys – women always at least perceive sex to be better when they think their partner has a comparatively large penis.

What this means for men is that even if they are what most people would deem to be average or even reasonably large in size, women would still prefer them to be bigger. An anonymous survey of over 1250 women by online opinion site Mister Poll revealed that 51% of women are more excited by a “huge” penis (which for the purposes of the survey was defined as over 9 inches long), and 35% preferred a “big” penis – defined as between 7 and 9 inches. Add this up and a huge 86% of women reported that they wanted a penis that was well above average. Only 7 of the respondents – less than 1% - preferred a below average penis size. These results are typical of other similar polls and surveys.

So, if what women truly believe is that bigger is better and only a very tiny minority like them small, what can a man do to boost his chances? According to these figures, even a man with what the survey considered to be a “big” penis would need to get himself into the “huge” category to meet with the majority of women's standards.

Happily, there are things men can do to increase both size and girth permanently and with no risk or negative side effects. Well, I know what I think, but I put together a panel of women of different ages by way of research, some married, some single, and asked them about what they really think versus the default position we take when men ask us. The results are in, and it seems to be unanimous – penis size does matter.

It also seems, right or wrong, that this view isn't just about a larger or wider penis being generally thought to be more sexually satisfying – it is also partly psychological. I asked my panel of women if they would think less of a man they knew who they weren't sexually involved with if they found out he had a small penis, and they all said that yes, they would. One summed it up best: “I know it's awful to say this, but I wouldn't be able to look him in the eye – I'd definitely think he was less of a man if I knew that.”

The women interviewed all said that they thought a man with a larger penis would be more confident, more powerful, and a much more desirable partner. Whether this stems from an instinctive belief that the size of a penis directly relates to the masculinity of the guy it's attached to, or from something more concrete is hard to say, but one thing is clear – penis size really does matter to women.

The panel also agreed, without exception, that the fact that there are now well documented products on the market like the Jes Extender and the Male Edge that can help men to enlarge their penises painlessly and without risk means that there really should be no excuse for men not to take action. “It's great news,” one of them commented to me on the way out “maybe now they'll stop buying those ridiculous sports cars and give us what we really want.” 

Penis Size – The One Thing She Won't Tell You She Wants You to Change

When it comes to relationships, no matter how close you are, there are usually a few secrets. While these are usually healthy and harmless, a surprisingly common and ultimately destructive area where couples don't tell each other what they really want is sex. Even couples who are fairly liberated when it comes to communicating about what they want may stay away from subjects where they are worried they may hurt their partner's feelings, or cause an argument by saying that they would like them to change something.

For many women, an area where they feel disappointed but would never dream of asking their partner to do anything about it is penis size. This is because women almost instinctively know that penis size is something you don't criticize, or even joke about criticizing. It is however, for many women, a big deal.

Surveys show that the vast majority of women prefer an above average penis, and the majority prefer one that can be defined as “huge”. An internet survey by Mister Poll of 1250 married and single women showed that not only is this the case (86% of their respondents specified “big” or “huge” with 51% selecting the “huge”, defined as over 9 inches, option), but also, the majority of the women who completed the survey – 87% - compare their current partners to other men. 61% said that they would even cheat on a partner with a man with a bigger penis if there was absolutely no chance they could ever get caught.

These statistics show not only how important women actually consider their penis size preferences, but also how destructive a woman's secret dissatisfaction could be to a relationship, if she is comparing her partner to others unfavorably and would even consider being unfaithful over it.

Fortunately, even though she'll never ask, there is something you can do.
